Nurture
The nurture committee assists our homebound members and those in nursing homes to feel more connected to the church and help them with needs they may have.
Family Peace Project "Housewarming"
The Family Peace Project is a local non-Profit Christian based organization which assists families in domestic violence situatons by providing transitional housing. There are a variety of items needed for this home, and our church has designated the 5th Sunday Fellowship dinner as a housewarming to provide some of these much needed household items.
Sunday, October 29th will be our next 5th Sunday. Suggested items to donate include non-perishable foods, cleaning supplies, food preparation items, cooking utensils, personal care items, and soft, good pillows, blankets, sheets, and shower curtains. Larger furniture items are always welcome. If you can't attend the dinner, you may bring your items to the church office.
Evangelism
The evangelism committee is responsible for helping to welcome visitors and contact them following their visits to the church. They encourage attendance and try to assist those who are new to the community to feel welcome and learn more about the community.
